胶州湾水母类生态的初步研究Ⅱ.数量时空变化及同环境因子的关系

摘要:
胶州湾内浮游动物丰富,而且水母种类十分丰富(马喜平等,1999;王真良,1996;肖贻昌等,1992),水母类在海洋食物网结构中处于较高营养级次,其季节性数量变化及斑块状分布对其他浮游动物的种群数量和鱼类补充量具有重要影响。本文根据胶州湾1980-1998年的历次调查资料,对湾内水母类数量的时空变化作了较为详细的研究,并且探讨了温度、盐度和其他浮游动物同水母类数量变化的关系。

ECOLOGY OF JELLYFISHES IN JIAOZHOU BAY Ⅱ.SEASONAL AND INTER-ANNUAL VARIATIONS IN SPECIES COMPOSITION AND ABUNDANCE

Abstract:
Seasonal and inter-annual changes in species composition and abundance of jellyfishes and their relationship with environmental factors in Jiaozhou Bay were studied based on the data collected from 1980 to 1998. The seasonal variation in abundance shows that there were generally two peaks. The first one, usually the highest, occurs in spring and the second occurs in summer. Water temperature seems to be the main factor which controls the seasonal variation in abundance of jellyfishes. The density of jellyfishes inside the bay was higher than that of outside the bay from March to August, but the situation was opposite from October to February next year. September is the transition month. Their horizontal distribution was affected by salinity when salinity was higher than 32‰. The jellyfishes density decreased obviously as salinity increased, since most of the jellyfishes species in Jiaozhou Bay are neritic. There seems to be a trend that the bio-diversity and abundance of jellyfishes in Jiaozhou Bay decreased from 1980’s to 1990’s.
