澳大利亚西北陆架盆地天然气水合物成矿地质条件及资源潜力

摘要:
澳大利亚西北陆架盆地已被证实具有丰富的油气资源, 而天然气水合物的相关研究尚未开展。本文利用天然气水合物地震识别技术, 同时结合对澳大利亚西北陆架盆地天然气水合物成矿地质条件的分析, 认为澳大利亚西北陆架盆地天然气水合物储量巨大, 初步估计天然气水合物分布区蕴含甲烷量达18 万亿m3。澳大利亚西北陆架盆地的构造演化是天然气水合物成藏所具备物化条件的基础, 因此是天然气水合物成矿的重要影响因素之一。

Geological conditions and resource prospect of gas hydrate in North-West Shelf basins, Australia
Abstract:
It has been confirmed that the North-West Shelf basins of Australia are rich in oil and gas resources, however, related research on gas hydrate has not been carried out so far. Using gas hydrate seismic identification technology, combined with the analysis of metallogenic conditions, we inferred that the north-west shelf basins of Australia are rich in gas hydrates. The preliminary estimation indicated that the quantity of methane in gas hydrate distribution area can reach 18 trillion m3. The tectonic evolution of the north-west shelf basins of Australia is the basis for physical-chemical conditions of gas hydrate accumulation, so it is one of key factors for gas hydrate generation.
