琼东温度锋的季节和年际变化特征规律

摘要:
本文基于1982-2021年遥感每日SST数据,使用Sobel算法分析研究了琼东海域海表温度锋面的季节和年际变化特征,并结合风场、流场、海表高度数据以及Nino3.4、PDO和DMI指数探讨了影响该海域锋面形成的因素。结果表明:琼东锋面沿着50-100 m等深线呈东北-西南走向分布,并存在显著的季节变化特征;冬季锋面最强,春季次之,夏季最弱,秋季锋面消失;三个季节锋面强度最高值分别为0.06 ℃/km、0.05 ℃/km和0.04 ℃/km;从冬季到夏季,锋面中心由东北向西南方向移动。分析研究也表明,其夏季锋与冬季锋的特征和诱因不同,分别属于不同的模态。近40 年来,琼东温度锋面强度总体呈增强趋势,并存在年际和年代际变化,锋面指数存在5年左右的变化周期。琼东温度锋的季节和年际变化受诸多因素的综合影响,其中局地风和流扮演了重要角色。

Seasonal and interannual variation characteristics of Qiongdong thermal front

Abstract:
Based on the daily SST data of remote sensing from 1982 to 2021, this paper analyzes and studies the seasonal and interannual variation characteristics of SST fronts in Qiongdong Sea area by using Sobel algorithm, and discusses the factors affecting the formation of SST fronts in Qiongdong Sea area by combining wind field, flow field, sea surface height data, Nino3.4, PDO and DMI indices. The results show that the Qiongdong front presents a northeast-southwest trend along the 50-100 m isobath, and there are significant seasonal variations. The front is strongest in winter, followed by spring, weakest in summer, and disappears in autumn. The maximum values of front intensity in the three seasons were 0.06 ℃/km, 0.05 ℃/km and 0.04 ℃/km, respectively. From winter to summer, the center of the front moves from northeast to southwest. The analysis also shows that the characteristics and inducements of the summer front and the winter front are different, and they belong to different modes. In the past 40 years, the intensity of the Qiongdong temperature front has generally increased, and there are interannual and interdecadal changes, and the front index has a change cycle of about 5 years. The seasonal and interannual variation of the Qiongdong temperature front is influenced by many factors, among which the local wind and current play an important role.
