Abstract: |
Salmon is one of the important food sources for human beings and has enormous economic value. Besides, salmon resources play an important role in maintaining the structure, function and processes of streams and terrestrial ecosystems by transporting nutrients. Salmon is a cold-water fish that is extremely sensitive to temperature, and its response to climate change is particularly evident. This paper combed relevant research through literature review, and discussed the effects on the richness and reproduction of salmon from the temperature changes caused by climate change, the changes of freshwater and marine environment and pathogens, and put forward the research prospects. The results showed that temperature changes have a greater impact on the spawning and migration of salmon; changes in streams and river flows affect the migration of salmon and the survival of juvenile salmon; changes in temperature and carbon dioxide concentration reduce the supply of marine food, salmon abundance decrease; increased water temperature increases pathogens and salmon mortality increases. The contents of the study can provide theoretical support for further research and management of salmon population to cope with climate change. |
