| 为了规范使用科学术语, 根据全国科学技术名词审定委员会最新审定公布的概念内涵, 并参考相关资料, 对近年来在海洋科学文献中经常混用的两组概念: “抗菌活性”、“抗菌活力”、“抗菌能力”;“潟湖”、“泻湖”进行了纠正, 并建议有关人员在今后撰文中, 注意使用规范的科学名词——“抗菌活性”和“潟湖”; 而勿用“抗菌活力”、“抗菌能力”和“泻湖”。 |

| Proper use of two concepts in the literature of marine science |

| Abstract: |
| Antibacterial activity and lagoon are two concepts that have been often misused in literatures of marine science, because of improper exchanges of ill-defined terminology. After a literature survey, I clarified the scientific meaning of Antibacterial activity and lagoon and differentiated them from their corresponding misnomers, based on the concepts and terms defined by the China National Committee for Terms in Sciences and Technologies. Researchers in marine science should adopt the proper terminology in publishing their scientific results. |
