| Abstract: |
| The osmotic pressure and pH in sea water are different from those in freshwater, therefore the preparation method of electron microscope specimens for animal tissue collected from sea and freshwater should also be different from each other. In this paper, the quality of fixation of Amphioxus egg specimens with 8 different fixatives and/or buffers are compared, and it is shown that Flood’s double fixation method appears to be the best. |
