| FIRST REPORT ON THE "SYNERGIST" OF REARING SHRIMP FRY |

| Abstract: |
| The "aynerglst" of rearing shrimp fry is primely made irom natural humic substances through chemical modification. After using a sultable amount of "synergist" in the pools rearing shrimp (Penaeus orientalis) fry, we found some distinct effects: (1) The hatching rates of fertilized eggs for the groups using "synergist" are as high as 90-98%, and that which not using "synergist" is only 40-53%. (2) There are distinct promotive effect on the growth of unicellular algae, and it is sufficient for each stage larvae’s needs to inoculate pools with chrysophyta(Isockrysis galbona) only once. (3) "Synergist" is capable of adjusting water quality and datoxicating heavy metal ions. (4) Metamorphoses of larvae are in good order and the shrimp fries are healthy and strong. They can come out of the pools about two days ahead schedule. |
