THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MULTIPURPOSE INTERSTITIALWATER SQUEEZER
Abstract:
The multipurpose interstitial water squeezer consists of a squeezingfilter and an oil-pressurizer. The filter has a stainless-steel envelope and an inner tube made of a new type of nylon. The piston is nylon made too. This new type of nylon is superior in both bending and compression strengths. Practical compression of the oil-pressure reaches 15 tons, compression stress of the sample can be as high as 413kg/cm2. This device is characterized by high velocity, high efficiency, versatility, stability, easy operation and labour saving etc. It can be used with the microporous filter membrane and is designed for use in both the land and vessel laboratories.
