| Abstract: |
| In this paper, Qingdao precipitation was analysed with maximum entropy method. Its vibration with a main period (three and half Years) and a subperiod (One and half years) was revealed. Monthly data of Qingdao precipitation and east equatorial pacific surface temperature and subtropical high in 1954-1977 were used. The time lag correlations between them were analysed. It is indicated that when the east equatorial pacific surface temperature is lower or higher than normal, the subtropical high appears to be lower or higher cor respondently and the Qingdao precipitation is consequently greater or smaller. |
