Abstract:
This study estimates regressions between shape parameters that contained length, area and volume were obtained from image scanned by ZooScan, and dry weight with dominant zooplankton of Calanus sinicus and Sagitta crassa in Jiaozhou Bay. This study intends to reveal the differences of regressions established by various parameters in several seasons. The results show that there are no significant difference in regressions of different months and area, which is recommended as the optimum parameter in image method. The regressions of shape parameter-biomass of C. sinicus and S. crassa are: lgDW=1.61lgA+1.69, lgDW=1.54lgA+1.32.
