Abstract:
Two kinds of hydrolytic enzymes to participate in the immune defense in the haemolymph of Chlamys farreri were assayed at 1h, 15h and 30h after injection with seleno-carragennan or β-1, 3-glucan. After injection with seleno-carragennan, the acid phosphatase (ACP) activities of experimental groups in serum and haemocytes were much higher than that of control groups at 1 and 30h; the differences of lysozymal activities of experimental and control groups in serum and haemocytes were significant except the group in serum after 15h. After injection with β-1, 3-glucan, the ACP activities of experimental groups in serum and haemocytes were much higher than that of control groups at 1h, 15h and 30h; the differences of lysozymal activities of experimental and control groups both in serum and haemocytes were not significant at 1h, 15h and 30h. It was suggested that the Seleno-carragennan could enhance the activities of ACP and lysozyme in serum and haemocytes of Chlamys farreri, but the β-1, 3-glucan could only enhance the activities of ACP.
