| 李乃胜，男，1957年7月出生，山东寿光人。于1981年毕业于青岛海洋大学，1985年在中国科学院海洋研究所研究生毕业。1993-1994年，在美国Texas A&M 大学客座研修。现任中国科学院海洋研究所研究员，自1995年为所领导成员之一，兼任中国海洋湖沼学会青年工作委员会主任，中国海洋地质学会理事，美国地球物理联合会（AGU）会员。主要从事海洋地球物理学与海底构造学调查研究，研究海域主要是西北太平洋边缘海，如黄海、东海、南海、菲律宾海等等。曾多次主持国家科技攻关、国家自然科学基金及中科院院长择优基金支持项目，也从主持中日合作海底热流调查研究等国际合作项目。1989-1991年，曾作为首席科学家率“科学一号”考察船东渡日本，与日本东京大学等单位合作进行海洋地热和海底电磁调查研究。1988-1989年曾与俄、美科学家一起横穿太平洋调查。迄今为止，出版专著4部（含合作出版），其中合作出版的“黄海地质”一书，获中国科学院自然科学二等奖；发表论文40余篇；出席国际学术谈论会和学术组织会议近20次，应邀在国外做专场学术报告5次。 |

| Li Naisheng. born in July I957 in Shouguang, Shandong Province, is Research Professor, Deputy Director of the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOCAS). Graduated from the Department of Marine Geology, the Ocean University of Qingdao in 1981 after four year's undergraduate study and from IOCAS in 1985 after three year's graduate study, he is a member of eight international and Chinese scientific societies, such as the American Geophysical Union (AGU), the Director of Youth Branch, Chinese Society of Oceanology and Limnology (CSOL), a standing member of the Chinese Society of Marine Geology (CSMG). He worked at Texas A&M University (TAMU), USA as a visiting scholar in 1993 - 1994.
He is an outstanding young scientist of China, his main major being marine tectonophysics. He has done a lot of research on the northwest Pacific margins. As the chief scientist, he has been implementing the National Major Research Program for the 8th Five-Year Plan, NSFC projects and programs of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). During 1989 - 1991, as the chief scientist on Chinese side, he headed an international cooperative program with Japanese scientists. Up to now, he has completed 4 monographs cooperatively and published more than 40 scientific papers.
Based on abundant cruise data, he got very good scientific results on the Okinawa Trough, the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea (ECS). He did heat-flow measurements in the continental shelf of ECS for the first time and obtained the first set of geothermal data there. He proposed that the Okinawa Trough is an active backarc rift and his research work on the structural activity of the Okinawa Trough has been highly appraised. He set up a model of tectonic evolution for the ECS lithosphere and made great contributions to the Chinese Ocean Drilling Program (ODP). Because of his excellent research work, he won the “Outstanding Young Scientist Prize of the Chinese Academy of Sciences” (1991), “Young Geologist Prize” (1992), named “Outstanding Young Chinese Scientist” (1993) and the first one of “Ten Outstanding Young Scientists of Shandong Province” (1995). In 1992, he was named as one of “the Ten Outstanding Youths of Qingdao City” and “the Ten Outstanding Youths of Shandong Province”, respectively. |
