南沙海域上层海水碳垂直通量的初步研究

摘要:
根据1990年5—6月在南沙海域4个站点投放颗粒物捕集器采集样品的分析结果,计算了该海域上层海水碳垂直通量。结果表明:(1)南沙海域上层海水颗粒有机碳总生成量为298 mg/(m2?d),其中35%分解参与再循环,65%以颗粒形式离开真光层向下输送;(2)颗粒有机碳向下通量为193 mg/(m2?d),总溶解无机碳穿过跃层向上垂直通量为3600 mg/(m2?d),真光层颗粒无机碳向下通量为27 mg/(m2?d),大气进入海洋的海气界面二氧化碳通量为13 mg/(m2?d)。

THE VERTICAL CARBON FLUX OF EPIPELAGIC WATER IN THE NANSHA AREA OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA

Abstract:
The downward flux of particulate organic carbon (DPOC) and particulate organic nitrogen (DPON) in the upper 80 m of the water column was measured using sediment traps at four sites in the Nansha Islands area of the South China Sea in May - June 1990. The total production of DPOC in the euphotic layer was 298 mg/(m2?d), of which 35% was decomposed and recycled and 65% was particulate form transported downward to the deeper layer. The upward flux of total dissolved inorganic carbon passing through the thermocline was 3 600 mg/(m2?d), the downward flux of DPOC was 193 mg/(m2?d), the downward flux of particulate inorganic carbon in the euphotic layer was 27 mg/(m2?d), and the carbon dioxide flux across the air-sea interface into the Ocean was 13 mg/(m2?d).
