| 芋螺科(Conidae)为暖水性较强、种类繁多的软体动物。作者曾报道过中国近海的芋螺科种类71种，近年来我们又发现了一些比较少见的和稀有种类，经过整理、研究，鉴定出10种，其中6种C. hypochlorous，C.vimineus，C.coelinae，C.striatellus，C.moreleti，C.sibogae在我国海区为首次记录；其余4种C.mustelinus，C. eugranmatus，C.balteatus，C.luteus分别由Kuroda(1941)，Walls(1978)和台湾学者赖景阳(1987)报道，分布于中国近海和台湾。以上种类均产于南海，发现于北部湾(2种)、海南三亚(2种)、西沙和南沙群岛(分别为4种和2种)。 |

| SUPPLEMENTARY STUDIES ON THE SPECIES OF CONIDAE OF THE CHINA SEAS |

| Abstract: |
| The present paper based on materials collected along Chinese coastal waters in the past years deals with the Conidae.
We supplemented the number of species after studying these samples. Ten species were identified, six of them, recorded for the first time from China (marked with *).
All of the species listed as follows were found in the south China sea.
