东海沉积物中轻矿物的研究

摘要:
本文对东海大陆架、冲绳海槽及长江表层沉积物中的轻矿物进行了研究。调查区范围为121°-129°E,32°-26°30′N。长江采样区段为芜湖——长江口。共分析了124个样品,其中长江样品11个,东海大陆架样品100个,冲绳海槽样品13个。使用的样品粒级为0.1-0.25毫米。

A STUDY ON THE LIGHT MINERAL IN THE SEDIMENTS OF THE EAST CHINA SEA

Abstract:
The light mineral in 124 bottom-surface sediment samples from the Changjiang (Yangtze )River and the East China Sea was studied. The 0.1-0.25 mm fraction was analyzed. The light mineral was studied with staining and immersion methods. The light mineral of the area investigated is made up of quartz, plagioclase, orthoclase, muscovite, chlorite, calcite, volcanic glass and glauconite. The area investigated may be divided into 3 mineral provinces on the basis of the light mineral composition:1)the western mineral province of muscovite, chlorite and calcite; 2)the middle mineral province of orthoclase and glauconite; and 3) the Okinawa Trough mineral province of volcanic glass. The results of our study show that the materials of the modern Changjiang (Yangtze) River are transported as far east as about 122°30′E off the mouth of: the Changjiang (Yangtze) River. When these materials are transported south along the coast, they are dispersed slowly as far east as about 123°E.
