| 关于西沙群岛的褐藻研究,除了我们在参考文献[3]、[4]中报道了11种马尾藻外,在文献[5]也报道了10种褐藻。综合上述报道，西沙群岛褐藻迄今所知共有21种。
根据中国科学院海洋研究所1957年4-5月，1958年3-6月，1975年5-6月，1976年1-4月先后四次在西沙群岛各岛礁调查采集所得的材料，对其中的褐藻进行了分类研究，所得结果，将陆续整理发表。
本文报道7种丝状褐藻，都是本地区的新记录,即:(1)短节水云Ectocarpus breviarticulatus J. Ag.(2)柱状褐茸藻Giffordia mitchellae (Harvey) Hamel(3)三角黑顶藻Sphacelaria tribuloides Menegh.(4)肩裂黑顶藻Sphacelaria novae-hollandiae Sonder(5)叉状黑顶藻Sphacelaria furcigera Kuetzing(6)三叉黑顶藻Sphacelaria fusca (Hudson) C. Ag.(7)小黑顶藻Sphacelaria carolinensis Trono，其中肩裂黑顶藻和三叉黑顶藻为中国新记录。研究所用的标本存于中国科学院海洋研究所植物标本室。 |

| So far, 21 species of brown algae have already been reported from Xisha Islands, Guangdong Province, China (Tseng,C.K. and Lu,B.R.1978; Fan,K.C，et al.1978).In the present paper, seven species of the marine brown algae are reported, namely，(1) Ectocarpus breviarticulatus J.Ag., (2) Giffordia mitchelae (Harvey) Hamel.,(3) Sphacelaria tribuloides Menegh.,(4) S.novae-hollandiae Sonder.,(5)* S.furcigera Kuetzing, (6) S.fusca (Hudson) C. Ag，(7) S.carolinensis Trono,. They are all recorded from Xisha Islands for the first time and two species (with asterisk) are recorded from China for the first time.These species are fully described on the basis of our own materials to facilitate better understanding of these seaweeds. The specimens studied were collected from Xisha Islands during 1957, 1958, 1975 and 1976. |
