| Abstract: |
| The present paper is the continual part of a report on the echinoderms of Xisha Islands. A total number of 598 specimens of ophiurans was examined. They include 38 species belonging to 16 genera, 8 families and 3 orders. Of these two species, namely Macrophiothrix unicolor and Ophiotylos brevipes, are new to science and 12 species are recorded for the first time from China.
A list of species is given on page, 64 in which those marked with an asterisk are the species recorded from China for the frist time.
