大黄鱼Pseudosciaena crocea (Richardson)卵子和仔、稚鱼的形态特征

摘要:
关于大黄鱼卵子和仔、稚鱼的形态特征,过去已有一些记载,但对很多阶段的描述还不齐全,使鉴定工作遇到不少困难。1958和1959年我们在浙江和广东近海进行了卵子和仔、稚鱼的形态观察,同时,还做了卵子恒温发育的初步试验; 1960年又搜集了补充资料,为开展大黄鱼生殖习性和早期生活阶段生态研究提供了基本资料。大黄鱼与小黄鱼等卵子和仔、稚鱼的形态很相似,不易分辨,本文中亦一并作了比较。 本文是在导师张孝威教授指导下完成的,吴尚勤副教授提供了宝贵意见,丁正凰和陈富宝同志曾参加海上采集工作,范守安同志协助分析海水;此外,浙江鱼山岛渔业生产大队、广东硇洲岛洲岛渔业生产大队和我所的"水星号"稠查船船长及船员协助了海上工作,在此特致感谢。

A DESCRIPTION OF EGGS AND LARVAE OF THE LARGE YELLOW CROAKER, PSEUDOSCIAENA CROCEA (RICHARDSON)

Abstract:
The important morphological characters of different stages of the eggs and larvae from fertilization to about 15 mm in total length have been described, based mainly upon the material obtained by plankton nets and by artificial fertilization made during the spawning seasons of the fish at Taichu-Yang, Chekiang, and near Naochow Island,Kwangtung in 1958 and 1959. It is interesting to note that the diameter of the eggs of the Taichu-Yang specimens (1.19-1.52 mm) is much larger than that of the Naochow specimens (1.09-1.32 mm). Some preliminary experiments on the development of the eggs under different constant temperatures (15℃,18℃, 20℃, 21℃, 23℃ and 25℃) were carried out in May and June 1959 at Taichu-Yang. The results showed that the eggs developed normally between 18-23℃. The eggs and larvae of the Large Yellow Croaker look very similar to those of the Small Yellow Croaker, Pseudosciaena polyactis Bleeker, and of some other sciaenids.Hence, their diagnostic features for distinguishing them have been described, especially the two species mentioned above.
