Abstract:
To understand speciesScomposition and diversity of shrimps and crabs in the coastal waters of Rizhao City , the data were collected in bottom trawl surveys in May 2012 and November 2013. In total,25 species of shrimps and crabs were identified. By IRI index, Oratosquilla oratoria、Meraenaeopsis dalei、Trachypenaeus curvirostris、Charybdis japonica and Portunus trituberculatus were ranked as the LargeSedible dominant species with highScommercialSvalue in the study area.Shannon diversity (H"), Pielou"s evenness index (J) and Margalef"s species richness diversity (D) of shrimp and crab communities in spring and autumn were calculated. The community diversity of shrimps and crabs in the sea area is at a low level as a whole, and the LargeSedible shrimps and crabs with high commercialSvalue in biomass and abundance occupy an advantage.
