胶州湾网采浮游植物碳生物量长期变化特征及其影响因素

摘要:
为了进一步分析全球变化背景下近海浮游植物长期变化对生态系统演变与碳循环的影响,本研究以近海典型海湾胶州湾为研究区域,对比研究了2004-2016年期间胶州湾不同区域网采浮游植物碳生物量的长期变化特征及影响因素。结果表明,胶州湾不同区域浮游植物年平均碳生物量水平存在显著差异(P<0.05),湾北年平均碳生物量(4.22±3.59mgC/m3)显著高于湾中(2.34±1.01mgC/m3)和湾外(2.52±1.79 mgC/m3)。不同区域浮游植物年平均碳生物量的变化趋势也有明显差异。湾北年平均碳生物量呈现下降趋势,硅藻为主要贡献者。湾中年平均碳生物量先下降后上升,硅藻的贡献一直占主导,但甲藻贡献度有所增加。湾外甲藻/硅藻碳生物量比值呈上升趋势,表明甲藻对碳生物量的贡献增加。比较不同区域的平均碳生物量季节变化模式,结果表明湾北浮游植物平均碳生物量为夏季最高,显著高于其他季节(P<0.05);湾中和湾外则在冬季达到峰值,显著高于其他季节(P<0.05)。温度、磷酸盐和溶解无机氮是影响胶州湾网采浮游植物碳生物量变化的关键因素。本研究为进一步理解胶州湾生态系统的变化趋势提供了新的视角,为未来近海生态系统的监测与管理提供了科学依据。

Long-Term Variations in Net-Phytoplankton Carbon Biomass in Jiaozhou Bay and Their Influencing Factors

Abstract:
To further analyze the impact of the long-term changes of offshore phytoplankton on ecosystem evolution and carbon cycling under global change, we chose Jiaozhou Bay as a typical coastal area in China seas, and investigated the long-term variations in carbon biomass of phytoplankton and their environmental factors in different regions of Jiaozhou Bay from 2004 to 2016. The results revealed significant differences in annual mean carbon biomass across the regions (P<0.05). The value of annual mean carbon biomass in northern part of the bay (NB) was significantly higher (4.22 ± 3.59 mgC/m3) than that in the central region (CB) (2.34 ± 1.01 mgC/m3) and the outer bay (OB) (2.52 ± 1.79 mgC/m3). The annual mean carbon biomass of phytoplankton showed distinct trends in three typical regions as well. A decreasing trend in carbon biomass of phytoplankton was observed in the NB, with diatoms as the primary contributors. In CB, the biomass initially decreased before increasing again, with diatoms remaining the dominant contributors, although the contribution of dinoflagellates grew over time. The ratio of dinoflagellate to diatom carbon biomass in OB increased, indicating a rising contribution from dinoflagellates. Seasonal patterns further highlighted regional differences. In NB, phytoplankton carbon biomass peaked in summer, significantly higher than that in other seasons (P<0.05). Meanwhile, in both CB and OB, the highest carbon biomass was recorded in winter, also significantly exceeding other seasons (P<0.05). Temperature, phosphate, and dissolved inorganic nitrogen were identified as the key factors influencing these variations in carbon biomass. This study offers a new perspective on the ecosystem dynamics of Jiaozhou Bay and provides a scientific support for future offshore ecosystem monitoring and management.
