本文基于1982—2021年遥感每日海面温度(Sea Surface Temperature, SST)数据, 使用Sobel算法分析研究了琼东温度锋面的季节和年际变化特征, 并结合风场、流场、海面高度数据以及Nino3.4、太平洋年代际振荡(Pacific Decadal Oscillation, PDO)指数和印度洋偶极子指数(Dipole Mode Index, DMI)探讨了影响该海域锋面形成的因素。结果表明: 琼东温度锋面沿着50~100 m等深线大致呈东北-西南走向分布, 并存在显著的季节变化特征; 冬季锋面最强, 春季次之, 夏季最弱, 秋季锋面消失; 3个季节锋面强度最高值分别为0.06 ℃/km、0.05 ℃/km和0.04 ℃/km; 从冬季到夏季, 锋面中心由东北向西南方向移动。分析研究也表明, 其夏季锋面与冬季锋面分别属于不同的模态, 存在不同的的特征和诱因。近40 a来, 琼东温度锋面强度总体呈增强趋势, 并存在年际和年代际变化, 锋面指数存在5 a左右的变化周期。琼东温度锋面的季节和年际变化受诸多因素的综合影响, 其中局地风和流扮演了重要角色。 |

Based on the daily sea surface temperature (SST) data of remote sensing from 1982 to 2021, this study (a) analyzes the seasonal and interannual variation characteristics of SST fronts in the Qiongdong Sea area by using the Sobel algorithm and (b) discusses the factors affecting formation of SST fronts in the Qiongdong Sea area by combining wind field, flow field, sea level, Nino3.4 index, Pacific decadal oscillation index, and dipole mode index data. The results demonstrate that the Qiongdong thermal front exhibits a northeast-southwest trend along the 50-100 m isobath with notable seasonal variations. The front is strongest in winter, followed by spring, weakest in summer, and disappears in autumn. The maximum values of front intensity in the three seasons are 0.06°C/km (winter), 0.05°C/km (spring), and 0.04°C/km (summer). From winter to summer, the center of the front moves from northeast to southwest. The analysis results also show that the characteristics and inducements of the summer front and the winter front are different and that they belong to different modes. In the past 40 years, the intensity of the Qiongdong temperaturehermal front has generally increased, and there have been interannual and interdecadal changes in it, with the change cycle of the front index being ~5 years. The seasonal and interannual variations in the Qiongdong thermal front are influenced by many factors, of which the local wind and current play an important role. |
